We are happy to share that our PhD student, Agata Szymańska, has just returned from a two-month research stay at Radboud University’s Behavioural Science Institute in the Netherlands.

During the stay, she collaborated closely with Dr. Wolf-Gero Lange from the Department of Clinical Psychology, who provided extensive guidance by discussing her project in depth, asking key questions, and helping her refine her ideas. She also gained hands-on experience with innovative VR-based methodologies for studying behaviour in social-anxiety-related contexts.

She additionally worked with Dr. Gijs Bijlstra, whose expertise on how stereotypes and prejudices shape social perception offered highly valuable interdisciplinary insights relevant to her doctoral work.

Beyond these collaborations, she participated in lab meetings across several research groups, attended lectures, and worked alongside a wonderfully welcoming community of PhD students.

This internship significantly strengthened her research skills, contributed to the development of her PhD project, and expanded her international academic network. We are proud of her achievements and look forward to seeing how these new experiences shape the next stages of her research!
