Laurent Beaupoil participated as a speaker at Neuronus, closing the symposium "From Saccades to Saliency: The role of eye movements in sensory and social cognition" with his talk "Objects of Truth: Predicting the authenticity judgement of journalistic images based on its contents, an eye-tracking study". He presented a summary of several studies analysing the content of photographs, as part of our project investigating the perception of journalistic photographs as fake or real.

More precisely, he outlined how specific contents can affect authenticity perception, especially when they are looked at for a long duration, and how we could use those results to predict this perception in a foreseeable future.
