We are excited to share that our lab members—Agata Szymańska, Beata Pacula, and dr hab. prof. UJ Michał Kuniecki—recently participated in the IEEE VR 2025 Conference, presenting their latest research in virtual reality and affective computing.

IEEE VR is one of the top international conferences on virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR). It brings together researchers, developers, and industry professionals from various fields, including computer science, psychology, cognitive science, and engineering, to discuss the latest advancements in immersive technologies.

Agata Szymańska took part in the prestigious Doctoral Consortium, where she had the opportunity to present her PhD project “The Proteus Effect in Virtual Reality: Examining Stereotype Threat through Gender Cues” through both a presentation and a poster. Engaging in discussions with mentors, she received valuable feedback to refine and strengthen her research.
